In the years that followed, Trivium continued to evolve while enduring significant lineup turnover, particularly behind the drum kit. Travis Smith served until 2009, followed by Nick Augusto (2009 to 2014), Mat Madiro (2014 to 2016), Alex Bent (2016 to 2025), and most recently Alex Rüdinger, who joined in October 2025, while the band maintained a stable core of Heafy on vocals and guitar since 1999, Corey Beaulieu on guitar since 2003, and Paolo Gregoletto on bass since 2004. The band's catalog and reputation grew steadily, and by the release of their tenth album they had notched a Kerrang! "Album of the Year" honor for Ascendancy, gone gold in the UK, surpassed global sales of 500,000 copies, and earned six straight Top 25 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 along with six Top 3 debuts on the Top Rock Albums Chart. Their 2017 album The Sin and the Sentence produced the single "Betrayer," which received a Grammy nomination at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019 for Best Metal Performance, though it lost to High on Fire's "Electric Messiah." Along the way, Trivium became known as one of the rare bands able to share stages with acts like Metallica and Iron Maiden while also holding captive audiences of tens of thousands during livestream performances. Trivium remains an active touring and recording act. Their tenth studio album, In the Court of the Dragon, was released on October 8, 2021 , and the band has continued pushing forward, releasing the Struck Dead EP on October 31, 2025 , with a follow-up full-length reportedly planned for late 2026 or early 2027. The band is currently gearing up for a fall 2026 North American headline run, TRIVIUM have announced a massive North American headline tour for Fall 2026, marking the beginning of the band's next chapter with new music on the horizon, billed with In Flames, Orbit Culture, Fit For An Autopsy, and Frozen Soul, and featuring new drummer Alex Rüdinger. More than two decades since their formation, Trivium's reputation as one of modern metal's most durable and influential acts, forged in Orlando's local scene and sharpened through constant touring, remains firmly intact.

For this archive, Trivium holds a modest but meaningful place in Wayne Dennon's collection. Wayne photographed the band on two separate occasions between 2007 and 2008, capturing them in two different cities across two different states during a period when the band, fresh off the breakout success of Ascendancy and touring hard behind The Crusade, was still very much a rising force in the metal underground. The 46 photographs from those shows, viewed by archive visitors 34,690 times, stand as a quiet record of a band on its way up, framed through the lens of a photographer whose work this site is dedicated to preserving.
