Three (3)

Three is an American progressive rock band formed in 2008 by drummer and vocalist Gavin Harrison of Porcupine Tree, alongside guitarist/vocalist Joey Vera of Armored Saint and Fates Warning, and keyboardist/vocalist Keith Emerson. The supergroup brought together three highly accomplished musicians from different corners of progressive and hard rock to create an album — To the Power of Three (2012) — that showcased each member's considerable individual talents within a collaborative framework. The project was conceived as a tribute to the power of the trio format and drew enthusiastically from the progressive rock tradition each member had spent their career inhabiting.
