About Damone

Damone was an American rock band that originated in Waltham, Massachusetts, formed in the early 2000s around vocalist and guitarist Noelle LeBlanc. The band developed a power-pop meets hard rock sound with punk influences, drawing comparisons to Heart, Pat Benatar, and Paramore. They released their debut full-length From the Attic in 2006 on Island Records, which produced the single Out Here All Night and received positive notices for LeBlanc's forceful vocals and the band's melodic energy. A follow-up album I Think You Know followed before the band eventually disbanded. Damone were notable for being a female-fronted rock act on a major label at a time when that remained uncommon in the hard rock space, and their high-energy live shows built a devoted following particularly on the East Coast club circuit.
