Theory Of A Dead Man

Theory of a Deadman is a Canadian rock band from Delta, British Columbia, formed in 2001 and signed to Nickelback's 604 Records label after Chad Kroeger discovered them and produced their debut album. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Tyler Connolly, guitarist Dave Brenner, bassist Dean Back, and drummer Joey Dandeneau. Their straightforward post-grunge sound and Connolly's direct, confessional songwriting style earned them a strong following on rock radio, producing mainstream rock hits including Santa Monica, Not Meant to Be, Bad Girlfriend, and Blow. Bad Girlfriend spent five weeks at number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and crossed over to pop radio, representing the peak of their commercial profile. The band has released nine studio albums and maintained a consistent presence on rock radio and the touring circuit for over two decades.
