About Crosby, Stills and Nash

Crosby, Stills & Nash — and at various points Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young — are an American-British supergroup formed in Los Angeles in 1968, consisting of David Crosby (formerly of the Byrds), Stephen Stills (formerly of Buffalo Springfield), and Graham Nash (formerly of the Hollies). The trio came together as a vocal harmony group at a time when each member was already an established figure in rock and folk music, and their combination of three distinct voices into something entirely new produced some of the most beautiful and influential harmony singing in the history of popular music. Their impact on the sound and spirit of the late 1960s and 1970s counterculture was profound and lasting.
