Debris Inc.

Debris Inc. was an American metal supergroup formed in 2003, built around guitarist Phil Anselmo of Pantera and Down alongside members of St. Vitus and other heavy music veterans. The project combined the sludge metal and doom traditions of New Orleans with the abrasive underground metal scene, releasing their self-titled debut album in 2003 on Southern Lord Records. The album was recorded and released quickly, capturing the raw, improvisational energy the members brought from their respective bands. Debris Inc. was conceived as a loose, project-based endeavor rather than a permanent band, and disbanded after the album's release as the members returned to their primary groups.
